Tech giant Apple has reclosed 11 of its stores in Southern California, Maryland, Ohio, and Tennessee due to local increases in Wuhan coronavirus infections. This makes a total of 91 American stores that have been closed back down after opening.

The Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) and the National Retail Federation (NRF), trade associations representing major players in the retail industry like Walmart Inc. and Target Corp., crafted a blueprint outlining a uniform, three-phased approach to reopen stores across the country, which they plan to send to governors on Monday.

Bose Will Close All Retail Stores in America

Audio giant Bose is reportedly closing all of its retail stores in America and Canada, along with Europe, Japan, and Australia in a move towards an entirely digital sales plan. The company will keep about half of its global locations open, concentrating on China, India, and several other asian markets.

Dunkin’ Donuts Announces Closure of 100 Stores

As the retail sector continues to contract despite claims that the economy is doing better, Dunkin’ Brands, the parent company of Dunkin’ Donuts and the Baskin-Robbins ice cream chain, have announced that, from now and into next year, the company will be closing at least 100 stores across the nation.
