Blasting the World Health Organization’s (WHO) silence on the Zika virus in Latin America as “deplorable, incompetent and dangerous,” professor Amir Attaran writes in the Harvard Public Health Review that there is no way to continue with the Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on schedule without exposing millions to the threat of contracting Zika virus.

‘America Is the Land of Opportunity’: Microaggression on Campus!

Former U.S. Director of Homeland Security and current University of California President Janet Napolitano is reportedly training professors in the UC system how to avoid using alleged microaggresions, which now include such patriotic expressions as “America is the land of opportunity,” “There is only one race, the human race,” and “I believe the most qualified person should get the job.”

Asian-American Files Complaint Against Ivy League Schools, Alleges Discrimination

In another telling hint that universities are discriminating against Asian-Americans, Michael Wang, who notched a perfect ACT score, a 2230 SAT, a 4.67 weighted grade point average and 13 Advanced Placement courses on his resume, was rejected by seven Ivy League universities and Stanford in 2013. The only Ivy League school to accept him was the University of Pennsylvania.
