The Trump administration is planning for tariffs on the remaining $267 billion of Chinese goods not already subject to tariffs, Bloomberg News reports.

The new round of tariffs would be imposed if trade talks between President Donald Trump and China’s dictator-for-life Xi Jinping fail. Those talks are scheduled for November.

Trump has been promising additional tariffs for months. He first raised the idea of slapping tariffs on all $500 billion of Chinese goods imported into the United States in April. As the Trump administration imposed tariffs on $250 of Chinese goods in September, the president once again said he was prepared to impose tariffs on all Chinese imports.

“I hate to do this, but behind that there is another $267 billion ready to go on short notice if I want,” Trump said.
