Governors in Mexico’s northern border states began making preparations for President-Elect Donald Trump’s planned mass deportation operations. The president of Mexico told the governors to expect to receive migrants removed from the United States in February.

The U.S. Office of Special Counsel questioned the findings of a CBP internal investigation concerning a whistleblower complaint that, among other allegations, the Deming New Mexico Air Unit was prevented from responding to emergency calls, resulting in several deaths. The deaths included one migrant and a Border Patrol agent who died in July 2020. After investigating the matter, the Customs and Border Protection’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) ruled the allegations were unsubstantiated.

On Tuesday, San Diego County Sheriff Kelly A. Martinez announced that her office will not abide by a new sanctuary policy adopted by the Southern California county’s Board of Supervisors. The latest sanctuary policy limits cooperation with Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers by prohibiting county law enforcement officers from granting ICE agents access to individuals or using County facilities for investigative interviews.

A pair of fentanyl dealers were sentenced to a combined 15-year federal prison sentence after being found guilty in the death of a 15-year-old Carrollton, Texas, girl. The two supplied the girl with fake Percocet pills containing the deadly fentanyl, according to court documents.

Two migrants with violent criminal records were included among a host of migrants removed by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during the Thanksgiving holiday week. According to ICE, the violent offenders were wanted in their home countries for murder and attempted murder in Honduras and Ecuador. The pair of violent offenders were among hundreds removed during the holiday weekend.

Among the number of reasons for that and the causes cited for the rise in smuggling fees is the outcome of the recent presidential election.

President-Elect Donald Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan, visited Texas Army National Guard soldiers/airmen and Texas Highway Patrol troopers at a recently constructed state military base on the banks of the Rio Grande near Eagle Pass. Accompanied by Texas Governor Greg Abbott, Homan spoke to the attendees ahead of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. During the Tuesday visit, Homan and Texas Abbott served food to the troops after brief remarks.

Border Patrol agents interdicted a large group of migrants shortly after they waded across the shallow Rio Grande 12 miles north of Eagle Pass on Friday. The large group of 260 migrants crossed into the United States just before daybreak.

Despite the resurgence of a few migrant caravans that have formed in the southern Mexican state of Chiapas, a post-election rush to the border after a Trump victory many expected would occur has yet to materialize.

President-elect Donald J. Trump is sending a clear message that military troops will be part of his border security plan and play a role in mass deportation operations promised during his campaign. On Monday, Trump confirmed this on his Truth Social platform by re-truthing a post by Tom Fitton, president of the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch, indicating Trump would use the military to “reverse the Biden invasion through a mass deportation program.” Trump responded on Truth Social with a one-word answer — “TRUE!!!”

A 28-year-old Houston man has been indicted for allegedly attempting to provide material support to the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization. Anas Said was arrested by FBI agents on November 8 in the parking lot of his residence, according to court documents reviewed by Breitbart Texas.

Zavala County Sheriff’s deputies led an operation within their county designed to target online child predators. On Thursday, the department announced the arrest of nine suspects arrested for a variety of charges related to child pornography and solicitation of a minor, all federal felony offenses.

In a report reviewed exclusively by Breitbart Texas, human intelligence developed by frontline Border Patrol intelligence officers reveals the possibility of a formal covert operation being conducted by the Maduro regime. The operation is designed to infiltrate the United States using released inmates and pairing them with Venezuelan intelligence operatives to “neutralize” human targets within the United States.

A Border Patrol report reviewed by Breitbart Texas revealed that migrant arrests at the nation’s borders jumped to more than 58,000. This is the largest month since August, when approximately 60,000 migrants were arrested after illegally crossing the borders into the United States.

As the Biden-Harris administration’s four-year term winds down, more than six million migrants have flooded into just five southwest Border Patrol sectors.  One and a half million migrant crossings were recorded in the remaining four Border Patrol sectors along the southwest border.

A Department of Homeland Security report reviewed by Breitbart Texas revealed that Border Patrol agents arrested 124 Iranian nationals who illegally crossed the southwest border in the last month before the presidential election. The number represents a more than 150 percent increase in the apprehension of Iranian nationals when compared to one year earlier. According to a source within CBP, the influx of Iranian nationals and other Special Interest Aliens (SIA) across the U.S./Mexico border shows no indication of slowing as the first month of the new fiscal year comes to an end.

According to a source within CBP, the massive migrant release machine is still operational and ready to gear up again if the upcoming election sees Kamala Harris win the presidency. The source, not authorized to speak to the media, says the border migrant release system of CBP soft-sided processing centers located between San Diego, California, and Brownsville, Texas, remains operational despite an almost year-long slowdown in migrant crossings.

As election day nears, a non-profit migrant shelter in San Antonio saw the number of housed migrants rise since May. As Texas border border cities begin to experience a rise in crossings, the San Antonio Migrant Resource Center has housed nearly 12,500 migrants since October 1, 2024.

A large migrant group quietly entered the heart of downtown Eagle Pass on Saturday. Among the more than one hundred migrants were two Special Interest Aliens huddled among 107 others crossing the Rio Grande. A Palestinian man and another migrant man from Iraq were found within the group shortly after fording the river just before daybreak.

According to a source within CBP, flights carrying 153 mostly Special Interest Aliens (SIA) from San Diego, California, arrived in Laredo, Texas. Most will be processed and released to non-government charity shelters across the Lone Star state. The source said the migrants flown into Texas on Immigration and Customs Enforcement aircraft will be released to a local Catholic Charities shelter in Laredo once processed.

As a new surge at the border in the small town of Eagle Pass begins to grow, U.S. Customs and Border Protection detention buses are delivering migrants daily in larger numbers to a non-government shelter. Breitbart Texas drone footage shows one bus delivering nearly 50 migrants to the Mission Border Hope shelter on Friday. The group of migrants consisted of several family units and single adult migrants.

Within the last week, 158 unaccompanied migrant children have been sent across the Rio Grande into the small town of Eagle Pass. The children, mostly between the ages of five to 17, hail from several Central and South American countries, according to a source within Customs and Border Protection.

More than 500 migrants in four large groups crossed into Eagle Pass over the weekend. Most concerning, according to a source with Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is the number of Special Interest Aliens embedded within the groups. Since Friday, five migrants from Iran, 19 from Egypt, four from Afghanistan, and five migrants from Turkey were arrested after illegally crossing the Rio Grande into the small Texas border town of Eagle Pass.

Federal prosecutors filed charges against 25-year-old Ricardo Prieto-Simental, a Mexican national accused of biting and attacking a Border Patrol agent near Santa Teresa, New Mexico, in September. On Wednesday, the Department of Justice announced the filing of charges against Prieto-Simental and the prosecution of several other migrants for assault on U.S. Border Patrol agents in other recent incidents in the Border Patrol’s El Paso Sector.

Just days before the anniversary of the deadly October 7 Hamas attack on Israel, nearly two hundred anti-Israel protesters gathered in protest near Austin’s City Hall on Saturday. The event is part of the weeklong protest activities to support Palestine, Lebanon, and Iran. As the protest began, more than a dozen uniformed police and Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol troopers were posted nearby.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Removal Operations officers (ERO) assigned to the Boston area apprehended a Salvadoran migrant unlawfully present in the United States who was wanted in his home country for crimes against humanity. Officers arrested the 50-year-old fugitive in Tisbury on September 17, according to ICE officials. The migrant, who is currently detained and awaiting removal, has a lengthy immigration history within the United States.

The Department of Homeland Security’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) issued a scathing report criticizing agencies within the Biden-Harris administration for allowing released migrants without identification to board scheduled airline flights.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection computer systems will now allow employees to use an unlimited assortment of pronouns within their official government online profiles. A source within CBP says the move is just one more sign that the Biden-Harris administration is focused on social justice issues more than criminal justice concerns.

Texas Highway Patrol troopers interdicted a large group of migrants shortly after they waded across the shallow Rio Grande north of Eagle Pass on Monday. The large group was one of two that the agency interdicted that day. According to a spokesperson for the Texas Highway Patrol, 27 migrants within the group were “Special Interest Aliens,” citizens of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Egypt, and India.

A Border Patrol agent became the victim of a frightening assault near Sunland Park, New Mexico, as he attempted to apprehend a migrant for crossing the border alongside several others. The migrant punched and bit the Border Patrol agent as he was being led to a transport vehicle on Thursday.

Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol troopers interdicted a large group of migrants shortly after they waded across the shallow Rio Grande north of Eagle Pass on Wednesday. In all, 124 migrants from a host of different countries were arrested by the troopers in a surprising twist to the election-year slowdown along the Texas border.

According to a source within the Department of Homeland Security, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has all but abandoned its offices in Eagle Pass and Del Rio, Texas. Only one special agent is working in one border office, and a local police task force officer is working in the other. The situation, according to the source, leaves just one DEA agent working a few days per week along the Texas border between El Paso and Laredo.
