Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. Dan Sullivan (R-AK) said it would not be “politically wise” for President Donald Trump to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Sullivan said, “The president has the constitutional authority to remove him.”
He added, “Is it politically wise? I don’t think so. I support Jeff Sessions and the job he is doing.”
