Sunday across the NFL, some players stood for the national anthem, some knelt, some locked arms and all but one Pittsburgh Steeler stayed in the locker room.
Buffalo Bills star running back LeSean McCoy took a different approach as “The Star-Spangled Banner” sounded at New Era Field by continuing to go through his pre-game stretches.
After the game, McCoy explained his decision to not stand, reasoning that President Donald Trump was “acting like a jerk” by denouncing the national anthem protests.
