Per a NewsOK report, University of Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon’s attorney released surveillance footage of his client punching a woman in the face in a July 2014 incident.
The woman, 22-year-old Amelia Molitor, is suing Mixon for punching her in the face inside Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe in the early hours of July, 25 2014.
In the video, Mixon can be seen entering Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe and confronting Molitor before the two get in a quck scuffle.
Mixon then delivers a brutal blow to the woman, knocking her down to the ground.
He then quickly leaves the building as patrons check on her.
Mixon claims Molitor “and/or” members of her party instigated the incident by using racial slurs and hostile language, which Molitor denies.
Molitor suffered broken bones in her face from the punch.
After the incident, Mixon, 20, was suspended for a year and charged with a misdemeanor, but has since returned to the team and stars for the Sooners.
