CNN Legal Analyst Mark Geragos declared the grand jury’s refusal to indict Officer Darren Wilson for the fatal shooting of Michael Brown “a parody of the criminal justice system” on Monday.
“This is a parody of the criminal justice system. This is a prosecutor who punted this case to the grand jury. I will guarantee you, I haven’t seen it yet, I’ll make the statement right now. I’ll bet you his two assistants did not ask for an indictment. He showed exactly what his predisposition was. This was a foregone conclusion. This was a rigged game. This is exactly the result he wanted” Geragos stated.
