Friday after the conclusion of the NATO Summit in Wales, President Barack Obama said there will be no U.S. troops on the ground in Syria.
The president said, “With respect to the situation on the ground in Syria we will not be placing U.S. ground troop to try and control areas that are part of conflict inside of Syria. I don’t think thats necessary for us to accomplish our goal.”
“We are going to have to find effective partners on the ground to push back against ISIS,” he added.
