A surging presidential frontrunner is news and right now Republican Donald Trump is a surging presidential candidate, not just within the primary process but also against Democrat frontrunner Hillary Clinton. It should come as no surprise, then, that when it comes to the Republican primary, Trump is winning 72% of media coverage.

This is according to a study by the Media Research Center that also found Trump earning more coverage than Hillary Clinton. Compared to her 51 minutes, the billionaire businessman earned 69 minutes.

The study looked at the three major broadcast networks between August 7-20.

Coverage of Trump increased from 55% to the current 72% after the Fox News debate.
