Zoey Tur just won’t quit. On Monday, the transgender Inside Edition reporter took to Twitter to blast Breitbart Senior Editor-at-Large Ben Shapiro and John Nolte for causing a stabbing attack at a gay pride parade in Jerusalem that left a 16-year-old high school student dead and five others injured.
Tur tweeted a picture of the suspect in the attack, Yishai Schlissel, and suggested that “anti-LGBT H8 speech” espoused by Shapiro and Nolte “helps cause this.”
The backlash on Tur’s post from other Twitter users was swift and merciless.
“Just because @benshapiro is Jewish he is responsible for what other Jews do?” replied one user. “This is vicious antisemitism Zoey.”
“@zoeytur, are you this ignorant or is this an act!” tweeted another.
The accusing tweet comes just a couple of short weeks after Tur threatened to send Shapiro “home in an ambulance” during a panel discussion about Caitlyn Jenner’s Arthur Ashe Courage Award on HLN show Dr. Drew on Call. Tur later doubled, and then tripled down on the threat.
Shapiro and Nolte responded to the latest incendiary accusation in statements of their own:
“Tur’s vile slur is typical,” Shapiro said. “He’s the only person who has threatened others with violence in this conversation.”
“I find it rich that the only person in this trio who believes that violence is an acceptable outcome for political disagreement is accusing anyone but himself of encouraging someone else to engage in unspeakable violence to make a political point,” added Nolte.
Last week, radio host Adam Carolla weighed in on Tur’s aggressive behavior, saying that to the left, tolerance is a “one-way street.”
