In today’s chapter of Democrats Sure Got It Good, DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz appears to have gotten a total pass from the objective, unbiased, not-at-all liberal media after she lashed out against Jewish “intermarriage” at a January event in Florida. “We have the problem of assimilation. We have the problem of intermarriage,” Wasserman-Schultz said.

Although the Shark Tank reported on the remarks (with accompanying audio) last week, as Hot Air points out, only now that she has walked back the remarks has the media chose to report on the incendiary, backwards-thinking of the DNC Chair.

“At an annual Jewish community event in my congressional district, I spoke about my personal connection to Judaism and in a larger context about the loss of Jewish identity and the importance of connecting younger generations to the institutions and values that make up our community. I do not oppose intermarriage; in fact, members of my family, including my husband, are a product of it,” the Florida Demorat [sp] said in a statement.

If you don’t think the media is biased, please explain in the comments below why you believe Reince Priebus, Wasserman Schultz’s counterpart on the Republican side, could get away with saying the exact same thing.

As dumb as Chris Christie’s vaccinations comments were, the head of the DNC criticizing intermarriage of any kind in the Year of Our Lord 2015 is a bombshell.

But as I said above, Democrats sure got it good.
