Adrianne Jeffries, a reporter for The Verge, sent out a tweet to @ISIS Tuesday requesting an interview. “@ISIS Hi, I’m a reporter for @verge. I’d like to interview you. Email me…” Twitchy reports that she deleted the tweet after her request was mocked.

After deleting the tweet, Jeffries claimed “I was thinking of doing a story on people with user names like @isis and @taliban I SWEAR.

The @isis account is owned by an account identified as Isis Lorena Chavez and issued only one tweet back in November 2011.
