After reportedly getting paid $4 million to leave NBC and not denigrate Meet the Press, former host David Gregory is reportedly trying to cash in some more on the speaking circuit.
According to Politico, the president of Gregory’s speakers bureau emailed potential clients this week, saying Gregory “will have a window this Fall when he is available to speak to associations and companies. He will, of course, address the political landscape, the White House, Congress, the 2014 elections, and what’s ahead for 2016.” Gregory will reportedly “provide an interesting perspective on life in the media firestorm and how it impacts politics and culture” and will be “free of restrictions.”
Chuck Todd will replace Gregory in September. Though stories of turmoil from behind the scenes will be the most coveted, Gregory is probably contractually barred from sharing those.
