The authors of Game Change, who allowed the former campaign aides on John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign to attack former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, will head Bloomberg News’ new political vertical.

John Heilemann and Mark Halperin were MSNBC contributors who, as the New York Times notes, are “known for their detailed, gossip-filled books on the past two presidential campaigns.” They will create a new vertical that will focus on “American politics and policy,” as the Times reports.

The authors also wrote Double Down, about the 2012 presidential election, and their method is reportedly to “invite a subject to a private room at a restaurant or a plush hotel suite, ply them with booze and let the stories flow.”

Heilemann also does not hesitate to make his views known on topics outside of politics, like when he said Jerry Sandusky was merely “ill” and not “evil”:
