Breitbart's Sonnie Johnson Blasts Obama's Race-Based School Discipline Guidelines

On Saturday morning, Breitbart’s Sonnie Johnson appeared on Red Eye on Fox News with host Greg Gutfeld to give her unfiltered, unconventional, and outspoken take on a variety of topics.

The panel discussed the teenage girl who sold Girl Scout cookies in front of a marijuana store (Johnson blasted her mother); whether boys in college should be required to get “affirmative consent” from women before they have sex; college students protesting Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” song; candy bars (Johnson said she doesn’t like candy and mentioned that her grandmother gave her raisins for Halloween); and Austrian hockey players partying until 6 AM before they were eliminated from the Olympic hockey tournament.

But most of the fireworks occurred when the panel discussed a controversial guidance letter from the Obama administration’s Departments of Justice and Education demanding school districts try to be more equal and proportional in doling out discipline. The Obama administration said that school districts may get visits from the feds if black and Hispanic students are punished more often than Asians and whites, even if students who happen to be from certain groups in a school district have more discipline problems.

After saying that this type of mentality “goes to victimization,” Johnson noted that she doesn’t come from the best family in the world but still graduated in the top 10 in her high school class. She said black students do not want to go to school to learn “a bunch of crap like the color of their skin makes them less than others.” Johnson said that is the message such guidance letters send. She said blacks and Hispanics will be taught that they will not be held accountable for discipline issues because of the color of their skin.

“It doesn’t matter if it’s coming from a white person or a black person; it’s still ignorance,” Johnson said.
