CNN's Brooke Baldwin on Roger Ailes Bio: Where Are the 'Juicy Nuggets'?

Brooke Baldwin, host of CNN Newsroom, seemed unimpressed Wednesday with the revelations (or lack thereof) in Gabriel Sherman’s unauthorized biography of Fox News chief Roger Ailes, The Loudest Voice in the Room: How the Brilliant, Bombastic Roger Ailes Built Fox News–and Divided a Country. 

Baldwin asked CNN’s senior media correspondent, Brian Stelter: “If Sherman interviewed more than 600 people… you would expect, actually, juicier nuggets?”

Stelter, who has yet to read the book, had to agree: “You know, I’ve read a lot of those reactions today, from people saying, ‘Where’s the bombshell? Where’s the surprise?’ That’s why, I think, the book more than anything else, is going to cement people’s opinions… Maybe there are other nuggets, but we haven’t seen them yet.”
