Five days before the 50th anniversary of the John F. Kennedy assassination, a special edition of Breitbart News Sunday on Sirius XM Patriot channel 125 from 7 PM to 10 PM EST will be devoted to the monumental day that forever changed America.
In an exclusive interview, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin reflected on JFK’s assassination and how different America and Democrats with Breitbart News Executive Chairman and host Stephen K. Bannon.
“Remember, he was bold enough to cite scripture. He was bold enough to talk about the Judeo-Christian faith that is America’s foundation,” Palin says of JFK and his America in the interview. “He wasn’t politically correct in that arena. And maybe, back then–in the early ’60s–maybe that was more accepted than it is today.”
Palin praised Breitbart News for fighting to preserve that American exceptionalism, which is a big theme of Palin’s new blockbuster book, Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas, which argues that the “war on Christmas” is the “tip of a spear” of a larger battle to fundamentally change America. Her 20-minute interview with Bannon will be heard in full on the show.
Ira Stoll will be on the program to discuss his new book, JFK, Conservative; Fox News contributor Pat Caddell, who was one of President Jimmy Carter’s top advisers, will discuss the Kennedy assassination as the inflection point of modern American history; Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent in George W. Bush’s administration and a candidate for Congress in Maryland, has written a book titled, Life inside the Bubble. Bongino will discuss how the assassination changed the Secret Service.
Jeffrey Scott Shapiro, a Washington Times contributor and protege of Gerald Posner, will discuss Oswald as the “lone gunman.” He will be discussing his piece about whether The Manchurian Candidate movie inspired Oswald to kill JFK because Oswald wanted to be a “hero.”
Breitbart’s Jarrett Stepman will discuss the five main conspiracy theories that have been floated after JFK’s assassination.
Roger Stone, the legendary Richard Nixon loyalist and Republican strategist, will be on the program on his new book, The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ.
Spyridion Mitsotakis will discuss Lee Harvey Oswald’s connections to the KGB and his belief that all roads lead to Moscow.
Breitbart News Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow will discuss the impact of the JFK assassination on the Millennial generation.
Bannon hosts the weekly three-hour program that helps set the next week’s news cycle.
