If Ed Schultz ever gets fired (again) from his job as a primetime host on MSNBC, he could always apply for spokesman for Organizing For Action, because last night he was spinning the Obamacare registration numbers like a community organizing propagandist.
The numbers were universally acknowledged as “dismal” everywhere except on the NBC cable outlet, where Schultz insisted that everything with the Affordable Care Act was right on track:
Holy smokes, we’re 100 percent higher than yesterday? And that’s just for October. But here’s the kicker: Nearly one million people have been approved for a private plan under Obamacare. They’re still shopping. They haven’t chosen. It’s the shopping season. This was the way the law was designed to work. They give you options. Nobody’s holding a gun to your head that you have to do it in the next six hours.
“This was the way the law was designed to work.”??????
It’s like Pee Wee Herman assuring the kids on the block that he “meant to do that” after flipping over his handlebars.
