Friday morning, during a CNN segment about the ongoing, three-day Value Voters Summit, the left-wing network’s chyron read “anti-gay, anti-abortion group…” What the summit really is is a yearly gathering of religious and social conservatives who support traditional marriage, just like Barack Obama did until last year.

Much to her credit, SE Cupp, a CNN contributor and co-host of “Crossfire,” publicly criticized the smear:

@CNN, can we find a more appropriate banner for the Values Voter Summit than “anti-gay, anti-abortion group”?
