On Monday, in a total surrender to the Republican National Committee, both CNN and NBC pulled their planned Hillary Clinton propaganda flicks. First, CNN announced that it would be cancelling its Clinton infomercial documentary to be produced by Hillary ally Charles Ferguson; now, NBC has declared that it will dump its planned Diane Lane vehicle about the former First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State. “After reviewing and prioritizing our slate of movie/miniseries development,” NBC announced, “we’ve decided that we will no longer continue developing the Hillary Clinton miniseries.”
Earlier on Monday, Ferguson complained that the Clintons and the RNC had attempted to stop his documentary. Originally, after NBC and CNN announced their Hillary propaganda efforts, the RNC had announced that it would not hold any Republican primary debates with the networks. After CNN announced its cancellation of the documentary on Monday, RNC spokesperson Kirsten Kukowski stated, “The pressure is now squarely on NBC to cancel its Hillary infomercial. The timing, frequency, moderators and venues will all be part of new debate model that will come in the next few months. Any media organization looking to be part of the debate process will have to comply with the new system.”
On Monday evening, NBC apparently complied.
