While discussing NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden this morning on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” host Joe Scarborough railed against the source of Glen Greenwald’s story exposing vast electronic wiretapping by the US government and called him “a weasel.”
“Look at that guy, that guy is a weasel. Can we not put his face up on the screen? He looks like a weasel.”
It’s not like viewers of the perennially second place morning show have come to expect a high level of political discourse from Scarborough and co-host Mika Brezenski, but this kind of name-calling might be a new low.
