The Washington Post’s Bob Woodward appeared on “Meet the Press” Sunday to discuss the brewing scandals of the Obama White House. When conversation turned to the controversy over the Benghazi talking points which show the White House and State Department’s successful attempts to modify CIA references to terrorism, al Qaeda and pre-warnings of imminent attacks, Woodward doesn’t pull any punches:
“You look at the whole Benghazi thing. You look at those talking points and the initial draft by the CIA very explicitly said we know that activists who have ties to Al-Qaeda were involved in the attack. Then you see what comes out a couple of days later and there is no reference to this. This is a business where you have to tell the truth and that did not happen here.”
