FishBowlDC reports that Friday night, during his CNN show “AC360,” Anderson Cooper reassured America that “I’m not Piers Morgan,” during a segment that featured Washington Times’ Senior opinion editor Emily Miller and Cornell Belcher debating gun control. After spending a number of minutes arguing in favor of gun control with Miller, Cooper blurted out:
…and I don’t take a position on this, it’s not my job, I’m not Piers Morgan here; I’m not trying to push an agenda.
You can watch the full segment here.
Cooper can claim he is not pushing a gun control agenda, but watch who he argues with during the eleven minutes. Near the end, Belcher isn’t able to get a word in, as Cooper picks up the gun-grab flag for him.
Regardless, it is nice to see one of CNN’s very own publicly admit what Morgan will not: that the left-wing Brit is pushing an agenda.
And Cooper had better hope he is not Piers Morgan, because as of late, Cooper has been beating Morgan regularly in the ratings — and that includes a rerun of Cooper’s show that airs after Morgan’s.
