Andrea Tantaros, co-host of Fox News Channel’s top-rated show The Five, is pleased to announce the debut of her own radio show, The Andrea Tantaros Show, to be syndicated by Talk Radio Network (TRN).
The program will premier on Wednesday, January 2 in the 9 to noon (EST) time slot.
Tantaros “will engage listeners who want to be informed and entertained with smart, edgy, and funny but responsible commentary on politics, pop culture Wall Street and entertainment,” a TRN press release promises.
On Fox’s The Five, “Tantaros delivers unfiltered and unconventional analysis, offering audiences candid and often humorous insight into politics, policy, current events and our country’s most contentious culture wars. She has hard won experience ranging from radio to Capitol Hill to high profile political campaigns.”
The Washington Times has called her “the most pragmatic personality on The Five… who has already had a lifetime of experience despite only being in her 30s. Andrea’s calm, yet reasoned personality mixed with a quick tongue and biting sense of humor make her a powerful presence.”
Tantaros will be joined by Jason Mattera, a two-time New York Times best selling author, youngest editor of Human Events, and host of his own New York-based show, The Jason Mattera Show.
Mark Masters, CEO of TRN Entertainment, hailed the pairing.
Andrea and Jason will bridge the age and gender gap that challenges talk radio today in ways no other show can. Their appeal to a bigger and broader audience, combined with an understanding of the actual radio business, is the best thing to happen to this new radio environment. Andrea knows that radio is a business first, and will work with stations and advertisers for mutual success.
“She’s a fresh voice who will inject new energy to the airwaves,” Masters said.
