I don’t know what else to call this, other than a lie. Should I play nice and say it sounds like the President is being just a little disingenuous? Perhaps he didn’t know what was on his own web site. The media should remind him.

In his most recent press conference (first in two months–JFK did them every two weeks) President Barack Obama said he did not believe that “Governor Romney was somehow responsible for the death of the woman that was portrayed in that ad.” He was referring to the now infamous Joe Soptic ad falsely blaming Mitt Romney for the death of his wife. Check out the image above  from Obama’s web site in January this year. Obama clearly claims Romney is responsible. This image is also further evidence of collusion between the Obama campaign and the SuperPAC that created the ad. What did the President know and when did he know it?

First, you had the Deputy Director of the Obama Campaign, Stephanie Cutter lying about what she knew and when she knew it, now we have Obama himself saying he doesn’t believe Romney is responsible, when clearly eight months ago he did.

Obama also claimed the ad only ran once. Which I take to mean it only ran for a “cycle,” or for a few days, or some other gobbledygoop. I saw it in Nevada dozens of times. I couldn’t get it off my TV here in this Swing State. It ran more than once, Mr. President.

How will the Activist Old Media react to this? Will they be able to connect the dots and tag this straight to the White House? I won’t hold my breath. The evidence is right here if they want it.
