Remember that quaint period of time when the left was pretending to like the military so they could bash the war in Iraq? Well, that’s all over. Eric Boehlert, Senior Fellow at the Obama White House’s unofficial 501(c)3 outlet, Media Matters for America, has decided to take on a group of Navy SEALs who dared to chastise Obama for giving away military secrets to Hollywood filmmakers.
The group, OPSEC, says that Obama’s decision to grant special access to Mark Boal and Kathryn Bigelow for their upcoming film about the killing of Bin Laden, Zero Dark Thirty, had dire national security implications. But Boehlert doesn’t take them at their word. Instead, he calls them “gutless.” Seriously. Navy SEALs. Here’s what he tweeted:

It’s a classy move. But what else would you expect from an Obama administration flunky who thinks that slandering military members is no problem so long as Obama gets re-elected? What else would you expect from a movement that tries to prevent the counting of military ballots to ensure Democratic re-election? What else would you expect from Media Matters?
