Ed Schultz is the Ted Baxter of MSNBC. Frankly, I think he’s jealous that Cooper’s show tends to score better than his in the coveted 25-54 demo and that Cooper just landed another talk gig. Schultz’s idea of career-building isn’t to work at his craft, it’s to punch above his weight in the hopes that the attention will make people take a second glance.
