In it’s ongoing effort to malign the Right and Right-side pundits, Media Matters foolishly attacked Big Journalism’s own Dana Loesch yesterday.
CNN’s Loesch Dissembles In Order To Attack Obama For Pointing Out Booing At Gay Soldier
Only in the muddled mind of a mental midget, otherwise known here as Media Matters researcher Marcus Feldman, does stating the facts equate to “dissembling.” It’s important to note the actual facts, as supported by audio from the original incident, to appreciate just how outrageous was Obama’s latest attack on the GOP along with MMfA’s weak attempt at defending him.
From an original report of the Florida debate incident from Sarah Rumpf, who was in attendance:
I was at the debate, in the audience on the right hand side about halfway back (here’s my tweet of the video screen that was right in front of us). The person who booed was just a few rows in front of us. The booing got an immediate and angry reaction from nearly everyone sitting around him, who hissed and shushed at him. Lots of loud gasps, “Shhhh!” “No!” “Shut up, you idiot!” etc.
Furthermore, audio available from the event clearly supports Rumpf’s reporting. One does not hear a crowd, let alone an entire political party, as Obama would now lie to assert, boo anyone. At most, it seems to be one or two lone voices which were quickly told to pipe down.
That the small bit of unacceptable booing has since been condemned by prominent Republicans, was objected to at the time by Republicans there, acknowledged afterward, demonstrates precisely the opposite of what Obama and the propaganda wing of his next campaign, Media Matters would attempt to assert purely for political benefit.
Within the GOP, there is little to no tolerance for the intolerance and ugliness in politics the Left, Democrats and now even a sitting President routinely embrace to advance their political agenda. In any other context, a man who would lure prominent couples into paying $35,800 each to hear him lie to them would be called a fraud. Unfortunately, in the world of Progressivism and Media Matters, they just call him President.
Fortunately, thanks to New Media and efforts like Big Journalism, such lies do not have to be permitted to stand, any more. That won’t be the case today, nor will it be going forward in the 2012 campaign. President Obama lied at a $35,800 per two plates fund raiser, leaving some hack researcher named Marcus Feldman to try and confirm the lie for him at MMfA.
At this point, given his term in office and their own sad history as a media enterprise, I think it’s safe to say that both Obama and Media Matters are sad failures for the Right to kick around and not fear any longer. America can ill afford allowing these losers to prevail in 2012, which is why we must dedicate ourselves each day to defeating them.
