Whatever Happened to, You Know, the Homeless?

During the Reagan Administration news stories were everywhere on the homeless in America. Almost like Reagan invented homelessness.

During the Bush Administration, again, more stories on the homeless. Almost like there is only homelessness while a Republican is in the White House.

Breaking news here, there is homelessness, and it’s on the rise under Barack Obama.

Since the activist old media is not interested in doing the story, I took a camera out there myself and talked to the homeless in Las Vegas. My goal—to find out why they were homeless and to see where they stand politically. We broadcast the results on www.Liberty.com.

Check out “Reid’s Home, Poverty in the USA.” Every homeless person I spoke with was a Barack Obama/Harry Reid supporter. They sadly believed that Democrats could somehow save them from the plight they were in—literally living on the streets of Las Vegas:

This is a story that normally the activist old media would love to cover. They would love to be there with their cameras feeling the pain of those who are living on the streets. Instead, Lady Gaga is being celebrated by MTV and Lindsay Lohan is spending time with her shrink, there’s no time to fit that homeless story in the newscast. Gaga and Lohan are the stories America is supposedly much more interested in right now. I call bull on that.

Democrats are promising a Big Rock Candy Mountain to America and the media is ignoring the resulting damage. I found the damage, literally sleeping on the streets of Las Vegas, of course, before they cover it, first the media has to want to see it.
