MOORE, Oklahoma — The FBI has impounded the vehicle driven in the Vaughan Food Processing beheading murder. The vehicle driven alleged beheading suspect Alton Nolan was seized by investigators from the FBI shortly after the alleged murder and assault took place. Nolan had driven the Yukon from the building at the back of the campus to the front office building where he entered the front door and promptly beheaded the receptionist.
The FBI was called to the scene by Moore police investigators almost immediately because of statements made by witnesses and personal items found in the Yukon, according to Moore Police Department Public Information Officer Jeremy Lewis. The FBI then impounded the vehicle and Nolan’s personal possessions.
“The Moore PD is looking into the facts involving the actual homicide while the FBI is investigating the Islamic background and connections,” Lewis said in an interview with Breitbart Texas. Lewis said the vehicle appears to be a critical part of the background investigation.
Alton, aged 30, beheaded the 54-year-old receptionist immediately upon entering the front office building. He then attacked 45-year-old Traci Johnson who also worked in the front office.
In addition to the search and seizure of Nolan’s Yukon, law enforcement officials also searched his apartment for clues relating to his Islamic connections.
