Federal prosecutors released the staged rowing photos that actress Lori Loughlin allegedly used to help her daughter gain admission to USC. Last spring, the Justice Department accused Loughlin of bribing USC officials to help her daughters gain admission to the university as part of the “Varsity Blues” college admissions scandal.
According to a report by the New York Post, federal prosecutors have released the rowing photos that were allegedly used as part of a fake athletic profile to help her daughter gain admission to USC. Loughlin was also been accused of paying $500,000 in bribes to have her two daughters admitted to the university.
The photos, which show Loughlin’s daughter on a rowing machine, were originally found by federal investigators in an email exchange between Loughlin and William “Rick” Singer. Singer pled guilty to his role in orchestrating the college bribery scam.
“Lori and Moss, I met with USC today [and] I need a PDF of her transcript and test scores very soon while I create a coxswain portfolio for her,” Singer wrote in an email to Loughlin. “It would probably help to get a picture with her on an ERG in workout clothes like a real athlete too.”
Loughlin and her husband, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, have pled not guilty to the charges against them. They are scheduled for a court date in October.
Breitbart News reported in October that actress Felicity Huffman had served 11 days of a 14-day prison sentence for his role in Singer’s scam. Huffman pled guilty to paying $15,000 to have her daughter’s SAT exam manipulated by a proctor on Singer’s payroll.
