Duke University brought miniature horses to campus this month to calm stressed students during finals.
Duke University hosted an event last week for stressed students during their exam period. For the event, Duke brought in several mini horses for the students to interact with.
“With exams and final papers looming over them, a pair of miniature therapy horses brought smiles to hundreds of students Friday on East Campus outside of Lilly Library. Sponsored by the library, the horses came from Stampede of Love,” a post on the Duke website reads.
Duke University isn’t the only institution offering over-the-top services for stressed-out students during their final exam period. The University of Pennsylvania and Yale offered massages to students who were first to sign-up. Penn State offered meditation and “cloud gazing” sessions to students before their exams.
Other universities, such as Hawaii Pacific, Washington State, and Kent State, offered Fortnite tournaments for stressed students during their final exams.
