A new video from Campus Reform shows Michigan State students admitting that President Donald Trump has improved the economy.
Students at Michigan State University admitted on camera this week that President Trump has improved the economy. The video, which was produced by Campus Reform’s Cabot Phillips, features students arguing that President Trump has bolstered American’s confidence in the economy.
Some students combined their praise for the President with criticisms of his behavior and decorum. One student, who said that she was offended by the President’s tweets, went on to say that she believes the President has made improvements with regards to the economy.
“He’s been out long enough now, [the economy] is not on him anymore, it’s more on Donald Trump. I guess he’s a little bit in the wrong,” one student said when asked about President Obama’s impact on current economic growth.
“I would, unfortunately, side with Trump on this one. I think he has done a lot for the economy that Obama didn’t do such a good job on so I’ll side with Trump on that one,” added another when presented with the same question about Obama’s impact.
Others argued that his experience as a businessman has helped him create economic growth. “Of all the things I have a problem with, the economy isn’t one of them… He’s a businessman. I think that’s his strong suit,” another student said.
“His tweets and stuff, I find offensive… but economically I feel like he’s really helping us,” another Michigan State Spartan said.
