One Georgia man is showing the world that being a Good Samaritan is not going out of style.
A video of the kind act showed the Good Samaritan hopping out of his truck to assist an elderly man hobbling across a busy road in the town of Griffin.
The Good Samaritan stopped his truck in the middle of the road to help the man cross the street. The oncoming traffic came to a halt as the two slowly made their way across the street.
E’Ondria Weens, the woman driving behind the Good Samaritan, captured footage of the touching moment and posted it on Facebook. Her video touched the hearts of many on social media, gaining more than 8.5 million views and more than 197,000 shares.
“It was so nice of him to do that,” Weems told WXIA. “Makes you think there are still nice people in this world.”
After the Good Samaritan completed his good deed, he climbed back into his truck and continued with his routine.
