Preschoolers broke out into an all-out brawl over Baby Jesus during a Christmas pageant for a Tennessee church—and it may just be the cutest Christmas pageant brawl ever.
A Facebook video shows two-year-old Teegan Benson, who played the role of the sheep in the nativity scene of First Baptist Church of White Pine’s Christmas pageant, dancing with the Baby Jesus doll while the children’s choir sang “Away in a Manger.”
Benson became the envy of her fellow pageant-mates, as the three-year-old who played Mary grabbed her “son” from Benson and put the doll back in the manger.
Benson really wanted the doll and took it back from the three-year-old, thus starting the “Great Nativity Brawl of 2017.”
The congregation seemed to get a kick out of the “brawl,” as parents can be heard over the video cracking up.
Teegan Benson’s mother, Tana, said in the caption for the video that the pageant would be “a program I will remember.”
“My little sheep took the baby Jesus, breaking all the rules leaving poor little Mary no choice but to take action! Momma to the rescue tried her best to protect her baby at all costs. Definitely a program I will remember. LOVE these kiddos and my church family! Laughed so hard I cried!” she wrote.
