Twitter has appointed a new head of product for the third time this year, with the founder of Yes Inc, Keith Coleman, filling the recently-vacant position.
The previous head of product, Jeff Seibert, resigned from his position in June just five months after being appointed.
Seibert’s predecessor, Kevin Weil, left Twitter to join Facebook after spending five years at the social network, with the latter part of his service being as head of product.
“Couldn’t be more pleased to welcome @kcoleman as VP of Product. He and his team are great additions to Twitter. Welcome onboard!” posted Twitter CTO Adam Messinger.
“Yes! Keith and team are joining Twitter to help lead and strengthen our service!” added Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, confirming the appointment.
Several people mocked Dorsey’s promise to “strengthen” the platform, with one user replying “you mean by censoring people[?]” in a nod at Twitter’s decline in users since it started to censor conservatives.
