Biden: Trump Has ‘Walked Away’ from Rest of World, He’s Not Having People at W.H.O.

On Thursday’s broadcast of CBS’ “Late Show,” 2020 Democratic presidential candidate former Vice President Joe Biden criticized President Trump for walking away from the rest of the world during the coronavirus outbreak, which includes “not having our folks at any of the international meetings or the World Health Organization or dealing with those nations who are working on vaccines as well.”

China Declares the World Health Assembly a Big Win for Beijing

Chinese Communist Party (CCP) media celebrated this week’s World Health Assembly (WHA) meeting as a big win for China, projecting confidence that the CCP has stymied the worldwide movement to investigate the origins of the Wuhan coronavirus and retains commanding influence in the World Health Organization (WHO). State media claimed China’s nemeses – including the United States, Australia, and Taiwan – were the “largest losers” at the WHA.

Trump Confirms Considering Partially Restoring Funds to the W.H.O.

President Donald Trump on Saturday confirmed a report that he is considering partially restoring U.S. funding of the World Health Organization as it investigations the United Nations-back agency’s alleged role in helping China cover-up the severity of the Wuhan virus, though no final decision on the matter has been made.

Report: Trump Planning to Partially Restore Funding to W.H.O.

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” host Tucker Carlson reported on a draft letter on a planned partial refunding of the World Health Organization by the Trump administration, which states that the U.S. “will continue to partner and work with the World Health Organization and agree to pay up to what China pays in assessed contributions.”

China: Trump ‘Like a Giant Baby on the Brink of a Meltdown’

Chinese state media ridiculed U.S. allegations of wrongdoing in the coronavirus pandemic in a spate of editorials on Thursday and Friday, mocking U.S. President Donald Trump as a baby throwing a temper tantrum and repeating the Communist Party’s standard line that all questions about China’s conduct are merely attempts by other nations to distract from their own purportedly inferior responses to the coronavirus.
