Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious diseases expert at Vanderbilt University, said Thursday on CNN’s “Newsroom” that vaccinated people should wear masks around their families at Christmas gatherings to combat the Omicron variant.
Many countries have reopened schools safely following closures during the coronavirus pandemic, said Dr. William Schaffner, M.D., a professor of medicine at the Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University and the medical director of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases.
Dr. William Schaffner, M.D., an infectious disease expert, forecasted that schools and universities will reopen in a “modified form.”
