The United States Military Academy, known as West Point, announced Wednesday that Vice President Kamala Harris will become the first woman to deliver a commencement speech at an academy graduation ceremony on May 27.
Eighteen-year-old Noble Rasmussen is a senior at Millard North High School in Omaha, Nebraska, and has accomplished so much through hard work, including getting accepted to all five U.S. military academies.
One cadet is dead and 22 more are injured following a near West Point, the U.S. Military Academy in New York’s Orange County.
The event is scheduled to begin at 12:15 p.m. EST.
