TEL AVIV — President Donald Trump has decided that the U.S. will withdraw from the optional protocol and dispute resolution to the Vienna Convention in connection with an attempt by the Palestinians to sue the U.S. government at the International Court of Justice in The Hague over Trump’s decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

Explosive Detonated Outside U.S. Embassy in Beijing, Assailant Injured

An explosive device was detonated outside the U.S. embassy in Beijing on Thursday. The suspect arrested by Chinese police, described as a 26-year-old man from the Inner Mongolia region, was the only person injured. In a possibly related incident, a woman was taken into custody for attempting to set herself on fire near the embassy.

The Jerusalem municipality has proudly mounted the first street signs pointing the way toward the U.S. embassy, which is set to open one week from today, on the 70th secular anniversary of Israel’s independence on May 14.

Kuwaiti Government Newspaper Article Slams Hamas For ‘Violent’, ‘Thuggish’ Protest

TEL AVIV – A Kuwaiti government daily published an article slamming the “March of the Return” in Gaza as a “provocative” protest designed to trigger violence by “terrorist” group Hamas, which uses women and children as human shields. The article also praised President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and move the U.S. embassy as being “courageous and correct.”
