In a dramatic reversal of policy, the Coachella and Stagecoach Festivals in California have announced they are dropping all COVID requirements and will no longer require attendees to present a negative COVID test.
The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has reversed its decision to mandate COVID-19 vaccinations, saying attendees will be allowed to show a negative coronavirus test taken in the last three days.
There will be no Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2021. Organizers announced Friday the anticipated return of the mass event this year “has been cancelled,” after it was initially postponed to October due to coronavirus concerns.
