Robert Wilkie, former secretary of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and current visiting fellow at the Heritage Foundation, warned that “woke” ideology is undermining meritocracy, morale, and readiness across the U.S. military in an interview on Tuesday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced Second Lady Karen Pence would continue as the lead ambassador for a White House task force to prevent veterans’ suicides.

The Gary Sinise Foundation, founded by actor and avid supporter of U.S. military veterans and their families Gary Sinise, has donated 20,000 meals to VA hospitals to help the coronavirus recovery efforts.

General John Kelly accepted an offer from President Donald Trump to remain his White House chief of staff through 2020, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.

President Trump on Thursday hosted wounded warriors at the White House for an event kicking off the annual Soldier Ride, a multi-day bicycle ride  aimed at empowering veterans recovering from the wounds of war.
