A Border Patrol sector chief reported a rise in the number of large migrant groups crossing into Texas from Mexico. The report confirms a Breitbart Texas report from September detailing large migrant groups entering the Del Rio Sector near Eagle Pass, Texas.
Border Patrol agents in the Del Rio Sector experienced an uptick in the number of migrant apprehensions last week. Agents encountered more than 1,700 migrants during the past week, including six large migrant groups.
A dramatic video published by Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Robert Danley shows agents rescuing two migrants who appear to be near drowning in the Rio Grande. These are two of the thousands of migrants rescued yearly by Border Patrol agents nationwide.
