Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), who is facing reelection this year in Wisconsin, just launched a new television and digital ad highlighting the success of his “Right to Try” legislation and showcasing a real-world example of a life it saved, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.
President Trump’s Right to Try law is a reason to hope – hope for one more day to spend with loved ones, one more day to breathe in and out.
While speaking at the Faith and Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority event on Wednesday, President Donald Trump invited to the stage a woman who was originally prescribed opioids and “left to die” during her battle with a rare bone cancer but ended up benefiting from the “Right to Try Act”, which Trump signed into law in May 2018.
President Trump already has significant achievements on health care that can be summarized as follows: more choice, lower prices, life-saving drugs.
“America has always been a nation of fighters who never give up,” Trump said, pointing to a boy suffering from ALS in the event. “This is very personal for me, as I proudly sign this bill, thousands of terminally ill Americans will have the help, the hope, and the fighting chance that they will be cured.”
