‘Caitlyn’ Jenner Attended Houston Megachurches for ‘Photo Ops’
HOUSTON, Texas – While in Houston filming his reality TV show and making other stops, “Caitlyn” Jenner and members of his film crew attended two megachurches whose pastors had been very vocal against Houston’s proposed “bathroom ordinance.” Rev. Dave Welch of the US Pastor Council called the events at the Christmas services, “photo ops.”
LGBT Hit on Houston City Council Members Who Opposed ‘Bathroom Ordinance’
A Washington, D.C., based LGBT advocacy group has hit Houston city council members who opposed the “bathroom ordinance” with a flood of public record requests. The group is seeking all communications of any sort between these six council members and pastors and faith organizations, and others – in all, 51 groups and individuals.

Texas Senate Passes Bill Protecting Pastors from Performing Gay Marriages
The Texas Senate passed a bill on Tuesday which would protect the rights of certain religious organizations and pastors to refuse participation in marriage ceremonies which violate their sincerely-held religious beliefs. The Governor said he will sign a bill that offers such protection to pastors and ministers.
