Traditionally, the Republican Study Committee (RSC) has been the voice of the more conservative members of the House GOP, but with it’s membership swelling and its conservative members increasingly frustrated by leadership viewed as more establishment-aligned, a core group of House conservatives is said to be splintering off to form a new group of their own in what is being characterized as a “mass exodus.”
