Tesla Ordered to Pay Former Worker $3 Million in Racial Harassment Case

Tesla has been ordered by a federal jury to pay $3 million in punitive damages and $175,000 in compensatory damages to a former worker in a racial harassment case. The amount is a dramatic reduction from a prior judge’s awarding of $15 million in damages, which itself was a reduction in the jury’s award of $137 million.

Loyola U. Prof: Neatly Organized Pantries Are Rooted in Racism, Sexism

A Loyola University professor is claiming that organized pantries are rooted in “racist and sexist social structures,” and that the new so-called “pantry porn” trend, in which people show off their “neatly aligned glass spice jars tagged with printed white labels” and “wicker baskets filled with packages of pasta, crackers and snacks,” has become a status symbol for white women.

The Nation: Super Bowl Featuring Kansas City Chiefs ‘Passively’ Encouraging ‘Racism Against Indigenous Peoples’

Ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles, left-wing magazine the Nation called to take the Chiefs’ “racist name off the national stage,” while lamenting that Sunday’s NFL championship showdown will see “racism and discrimination against Indigenous peoples in these United States… be passively encouraged as an outburst of good old team spirit on the national stage.”
