California School Stripped of Title over Tortilla Incident

ORONADO, Calif. (AP) — The governing body for high school sports in California on Wednesday stripped a Southern California high school of its basketball division championship after some of its players threw tortillas at the opposing team, which was from a largely Latino school.

Ivy League Professor Blasts ‘Racist’ Low Expectations of Black Kids in Education — ‘They Patronize Us, Presume We Can’t Perform’

Glenn Loury, a Brown University economics professor and host of the video blog The Glenn Show, criticized the need for affirmative action policies in education during the current era. Speaking at Malibu’s Pepperdine University School of Public Policy earlier this month, he explained black students do poorly on tests when they “don’t know the material” and not due to biases against them, urging educators to develop potential instead of lowering standards.

Fashion designer and former “Project Runway” star Michael Costello revealed how he suffered from suicidal thoughts for years, stemming from an alleged dispute in which he said he had his career threatened by Chrissy Teigen. Costello claims Teigen accused him of being a racist and said “racist people like you deserve to suffer and die. You might as well be dead. Your career is over, just watch.”
