Project DYNAMO, a nonprofit rescue organization based in Tampa, Florida, announced on Monday it was able to evacuate 23 American citizens and lawful permanent U.S. residents from Afghanistan, with no assistance from the U.S. State Department.
Volunteers from the nonprofit organization Project Dynamo rescued 39 U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents stranded in Afghanistan on Friday, according to reports.
Evacuees that fled Afghanistan on September 28, are now stranded at an airport hangar in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with poor conditions after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) denied landing rights to a charter flight carrying more than 100 U.S citizens and lawful permanent residents.
